Optimization of perishable goods delivery in supply chains with random demand

The article suggests a model for defining rational range and volume of supply perishable goods in their chains functioning at the time random demand. In verbal formulation, goal is to determine delivery volumes that maximize profits with restrictions on funds available purchase, storage weight, as well lost profits. formalized representation determined by properties supplied goods. If these are divisible, then linear programming problem. this case, assortment solving it, example, using simplex method.If under consideration piece (indivisible), they form corresponding integer based branch bound method. peculiarity it takes into account stochastic nature demand goods, limited shelf life, possibility storing availability necessary purchase next batch.
